Almedia art

 I currently reside in coastal Hampton Va but was raised primarily in Philadelphia Pa. I attended NSU but returned to Pa where I graduated from Temple University (Tyler School of Art) and completed ROTC. The inner city and surrounding suburbs were often reflected in my early work. My military life and subsequently my civilian railroad career resulted in a different pathway initially sought by my art degree. Now I have been able to return to my first love. I decided to explore and use numerous mediums and techniques. I work in pastels, acrylics, water colors, graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, and crayons. I also use different papers, canvas, and wood-especially driftwood and seashells. My subject matter is diverse but often influenced by my coastal home. My work is on display at Art Central Gallery Phoebus and a few other local venues. I have a commissioned painting, on wood, at the VFW post #3219.
