Pino Art

About the artist
Born in Augusta, Sicily, a small island town founded  by the emperor Augustus  who used it as a vacation  home,Pino attended military school  in Florence, Italy,  where he, most likely picked up the art bug.
Came to the states at the age of 18 and attended art school  in Newark, N.J.
Didn't  discover watercolor until his 5os and the love affair still continues.
Pino does not like to describe or explain his art , other then, perhaps, discuss his inspiration for a particular piece. He feels the viewer  should participate in the process by adding his own interpretation.  Otherwise, he feels, it would be like explaining a joke.
Pino lives on his 35ft. sailboat, Orca, his other love, most of the time. The ocean is his primary source of inspiration
